Why a Deposit or Transaction Is Pending (and what to do)


Some actions show as pending while Liqwifi is waiting for confirmation from the payment provider.

Crypto top ups (USDT/USDC)
What pending means
Your payment has been created, but it is not fully confirmed yet.
It is typically confirmed shortly after the provider sends a payment update.
What to do
1. Confirm you sent the correct stablecoin to the correct address.
2. Confirm you used the correct network for the token.
3. Wait a few minutes for blockchain and provider confirmations.
4. Check your wallet balances again after confirmation.

Card top ups (NGN)
What pending means
Your card charge was created, but the credit is pending provider confirmation.
What to do
1. Make sure you completed the card checkout successfully.
2. Wait for the deposit confirmation.
3. Avoid reattempting the same top up repeatedly.

Withdrawals to bank (NGN and crypto)
What pending means
The withdrawal has been submitted to the payout provider but is waiting for success or failure confirmation.
What to do
1. Wait for the status to change to completed or failed.
2. If it fails, Liqwifi may refund your wallet balance automatically.
3. Avoid submitting duplicate withdrawal requests while it is pending.

Bills and utilities payments (airtime, data, electricity, cable TV)
What pending means
The bill transaction is waiting for delivery or provider update.
What to do
1. Keep checking your bills transaction history for updates.
2. If the status does not change for a long time, use the bills requery option (if available) using the request ID shown in your transaction.

If pending lasts longer than 24hours
Verify the transaction details you entered.
Confirm the correct amount and currency.
Check again later for confirmation.
