KYC Verification Tier Limits and Features
Your Liqwifi KYC tier controls what you can do and the limits for daily activity and maximum wallet balances.
KYC Tiers
Tier NONE
No verification completed.
Wallet limits are 0 for NGN and USD-equivalent balances.
Daily limits are also 0.
Tier 1 (TIER_1)
Requirement: BVN verification must be completed.
Max wallet balance:
NGN max balance is 300,000 NGN.
USD-equivalent max balance is unlimited.
Daily debit limits:
Up to 50,000 NGN per day.
Up to 100 USD-equivalent per day (USDT or USDC).
Tier 2 (TIER_2)
Requirement: identity verification (NIN or Passport or PVC) must be completed to upgrade.
Max wallet balance:
NGN max balance is 500,000 NGN.
USD-equivalent max balance is unlimited.
Daily debit limits:
Up to 200,000 NGN per day.
Up to 2,000 USD-equivalent per day (USDT or USDC).
Tier 3 (TIER_3)
Requirement: address verification must be submitted and approved.
Max wallet balance:
NGN max balance is unlimited.
USD-equivalent max balance is unlimited.
Daily debit limits:
Up to 5,000,000 NGN per day.
Up to 10,000 USD-equivalent per day (USDT or USDC).
How daily limits reset
Daily limits reset on a UTC calendar day basis.
If you see a daily limit message, wait for the next UTC day reset window.
KYC verification attempt limit
Verification attempts are limited to 3 attempts per hour for each verification type.
Feature access examples
Withdrawal accounts and virtual accounts:
Require BVN verification (Tier 1).
Virtual USD card creation and funding:
Require Tier 2.
